And let's not forget about Cats' attempt at a movie career.

Then again, maybe ... yes, let's forget about his attempt at a movie career.

Oh NO! Now it's going the other way! Recording artists are making video games!

This is worse than that Kriss Kross Sega CD game.

But Bill Gates seems to like it. A bit too much, in fact.

Images from "Glitter Cell."

Mariah is heading to war!

Can she save the world from certain peril?

Or will she have an emotional breakdown first?

Will the crazy bitch for the love of god keep her goddamn clothes on?

Or will she make a fool of herself again?

Fight, Mariah Carey! For everlasting peace!

Mariah Carey ... a winner ... it's you.

Oh, NO! Now the fucking Pink Ranger has released an album!

No, seriously. Below:

See?

written/produced by Amy Jo Johnson through Valhalla

The Trans-American Treatment is a sexy, driven, romantic rock album with slow melancholy ballads to full-out angst rockers.

All the songs share the same dreamy, poetic-style lyrics that hold many stories about Amy Jo Johnson's life.

Has the world gone topsy-turvy?

Yes, the world is now and perhaps has always been topsy-turvy.

P.S. No stupid cat pics, but here's a big stupid dog.

I have my coffee.
I have my dog.
I've got my guitar, and thank god I've got love.
How about you?

Fairway.
Amy Jo Johnson.

I'm home again
out of control
my life is a tangled web
not a tangible thing to hold

slippin into the fairway again

on the edge of a hill
where the mummies meet the day
I saw a raven of fear
that the forest will betray
so I stepped to the side of the ledge
I held my wings wide
give me freedom I said
as I stepped from the side

slippin into the fairway again

pleased to meet the moonlit sun
on the brink of the edge of a wave
pleased to meet the moonlit sun
and follow it to a new day

slippin into the fairway again

don't be sad said the mummy to the man
because if you don't put up a fight
you'll never see the scam

slippin into the fairway again

pleased to meet the moonlit sun
on the brink of the edge of a wave
pleased to meet the moonlit sun
and follow it to a new day

slippin into the fairway again

SO I STEPPED TO THE SIDE OF THE LEDGE
I HELD MY WINGS WIDE
GIVE ME FREEDOM I SAID
AS I STEPPED FROM THE SIDE

I'm home again
out of control
my life is a tangled web
not a tangible thing to hold

That's right. She can sing about fucking mummies. She thinks she's got the right. Who's going to stop her? We should, but we cannot.

And doesn't it make you a better Ranger if you can rock and roll?

I prefer the Ranger's slower stuff. Like "Jimmy."

Even Superman will cry when he sees himself pass by.
Won't you walk slow with me.
Until the moon fell under the sun
Now life's begun

?

1964
I'll never forget when you walked through that door
oh, god you were my James Dean
and I was your dream

19 still dreaming like a baby
that's when I had our first child
through our son I became a woman
and you became a man

I was crazier than you and baby you loved me
I was crazier in denim blue and coffee for you baby
I was crazier in summertime on P-town wine crazy
I was crazy

30 years have now gone by
we sit silently together and cry
and my James Dean still holds me tight
while thoughts of forgiveness creep
through the night
and memories

????????????

"Goodbye" is also up in full.

Amy Jo is, apparently, friends with Gwendolyn, who recorded the following song for the motion picture Chuck & Buck. Enjoy.

Freedom of the Heart (Oodily Oodily)

http://www.gwendolyn.net/images/Ooodily.mp3

The phychotic ramblings of an environmental visionary...

why human why human why human

we crouch at the accelerated level

we motion to our fellow forms

stand for life!

help change our ways or perish

making way for a new creation to be born

another

not ourselves.

You know, in addition to her music Amy Jo Johnson has to save the world weekly from the evil plans of Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa. And it's tough being a superhero AND a musician at the same time. Even Superman will cry when he sees himself pass by.

So that's why Amy is so lucky to have the best producer in the whole music biz, a producer who really understands what it's like to balance cutting an album and saving the world.

No, no Mariah Carey.

Okay, so Amy had considered asking Mariah Carey, but the bitch is messed up in the head, you know? Mariah, not Amy. Or Lara. Well, maybe Lara.

Dude, Amy Jo is hot and somewhat talented. At least she was on Power Rangers before slutting it out on Power Ranges: Felicity.

She can't sing for shit though.

I have no beef with her. (Mm, beef.) She's saved the world too many times for me to look down on her. I am grateful to her and her Ranger brethren (especially Aragorn).

It's debatable, but I would rather hear her sing than see most singers try to act. Having only heard her, I hope she doesn't look as stupid when singing as Jennifer Love Hewitt does, poor girl.

I'd hire Amy Jo ... especially if doing Power Rangers: The Musical.

I would hire Robert Loggia as the villain. He would sing, and then release an album.

Bite me.

I are a heterosexual love team!
